Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Roger de Backer kicked off to start the match. The supporters of West Thrace FC booed when Moordrecht was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roger de Backer didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 5th match minute, West Thrace FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dirk-Jan Walregt to maneuver through the defense. Roger de Backer kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. West Thrace FC's Lucas Vonk played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Sturkenboom in the 22nd minute of play. Lucas Vonk showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Sturkenboom in the 24th minute of the match. In the 26thth minute of the game Roger de Backer who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but West Thrace FC's Lucas Vonk was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Demy Thole sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Erwin Brouwer might have been able to make a better finish in the 31st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Han Schoonbeek. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Erwin Brouwer ran back to his position shaking his head. Tomas Sturkenboom hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. Erwin Brouwer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Han Schoonbeek tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Erwin Brouwer got free with Han Schoonbeek in the 44th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Erwin Brouwer in the 45thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Han Schoonbeek, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Han Schoonbeek didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for West Thrace FC. After 86 played minutes West Thrace FC got a freekick which was hit by Jasper Mos. 87 minutes into the match, Roger de Backer dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Lucas Vonk, 2-1. Lucas Vonk made a fantastic save in the 91st minute, when Tomas Sturkenboom sent off a good shot on target. 95 minutes into the match, Erwin Brouwer notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Moordrecht's Han Schoonbeek. Han Schoonbeek was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. West Thrace FC fully deserved thier win.
