The audience thought a goal was coming when Dirk-Jan Mastebroek got free with Elco van Steensel in the 3rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of Koetsers booed when Werthers Original SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Peter Boer didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dirk-Jan Mastebroek might have been able to make a better finish in the 9th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Elco van Steensel. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dirk-Jan Mastebroek ran back to his position shaking his head. When Koetsers's Anthony Teesing in the 11th minute got a chance for a shot 11th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Werthers Original SC's goalie prevented a goal. Anthony Teesing struck a weak shot in the 14th minute. Elco van Steensel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Koetsers. Harm Anker kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. 21 minutes into the match, Werthers Original SC's goalkeeper Elco van Steensel had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dirk-Jan Mastebroek. In the 31st minute the ball was on its way in behind Koetsers's goalkeeper Adriaan Terpstra, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Anthony Teesing struck a weak shot in the 37th minute. Elco van Steensel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Koetsers. If Laurens Doll had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Laurens Doll sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Anthony Teesing stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Elco van Steensel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dirk-Jan Mastebroek in the 52nd minute of play. Anthony Teesing sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dirk-Jan Mastebroek in the 60th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Elco van Steensel prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Koetsers's Dirk-Jan Mastebroek got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 63 minutes into the game, Tjeerd Hekman was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Werthers Original SC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Koetsers the free kick. Tjeerd Hekman hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. After having played for 66 minutes, Dirk-Jan Mastebroek managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Koetsers's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dirk-Jan Mastebroek was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 67 played minutes Werthers Original SC got a freekick which was hit by Erik van Dam. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Anthony Teesing in the 68th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Elco van Steensel saved Werthers Original SC from getting behind. The audience was convinced that Anthony Teesing's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Elco van Steensel was relentless in the 71st minute of the game. Laurens Doll in the 73rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Adriaan Terpstra, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. The supporters of Werthers Original SC booed when Koetsers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dirk Jan Colen didn't get a good kick on the ball. After recieving a nice pass, Werthers Original SC's Frits Pool tried to score from far away in the 78th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Toni de Rudder's late challenge caught a Werthers Original SC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Toni de Rudder helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Werthers Original SC booed when Koetsers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Toni de Rudder didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Dirk-Jan Mastebroek fell near the penalty area in the 84th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Koetsers's protests and gave Dirk-Jan Mastebroek a yellow card for diving instead. Dirk-Jan Mastebroek kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. Anthony Teesing scored 1-0 in the 91st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Elco van Steensel, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When the referee ended the match the Koetsers players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
