That made the score 1-0 after 9 minutes of play. Rafael Wijnands could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 14th minute of the match, but Martien Remmelts made a huge save. Rafael Wijnands had several of the Doorwerth's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 19 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-0 score and a disappointed Martien Remmelts as he didn't even see the shot coming. Daniël van Baarle sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 25th minute, Ben Henselmans got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Rafael Wijnands recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Reggie De Paredes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ernest Jansen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Through an outstanding action, after 34 minutes, Martien Remmelts successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Martien Remmelts stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rafael Wijnands's shot from short distance in the 37th minute. If Rafael Wijnands had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Rafael Wijnands to make the kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rafael Wijnands in the 51st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Martien Remmelts prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 52 minutes into the game, Rafael Wijnands cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Martien Remmelts was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rafael Wijnands in the 56th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Martien Remmelts prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ben Henselmans fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Martien Remmelts having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Doorwerth's zone, Rafael Wijnands stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Martien Remmelts came out of the goal and Rafael Wijnands tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Guus Harmens received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Martien Remmelts tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ernest Jansen hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. Ben Henselmans sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rafael Wijnands blasted a shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Martien Remmelts having to make a save. In the 73rd minute Ben Henselmans shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Martien Remmelts saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rafael Wijnands sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Martien Remmelts showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ben Henselmans in the 77th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ben Henselmans in the 78th minute of play forced Doorwerth's goalkeeper Martien Remmelts to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Rafael Wijnands had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 83rdth minute of the game Rafael Wijnands who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Doorwerth's Martien Remmelts was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Unax Lebrija sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match clock showed 87 minutes, the score became 5-0 when Rafael Wijnands sped through Doorwerth's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Martien Remmelts. 91 minutes into the game, Orange New's Bjorn Popken nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Martien Remmelts made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-0. After a defensive mix-up in Doorwerth's zone, Rafael Wijnands stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Martien Remmelts came out of the goal and Rafael Wijnands tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Orange New walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
