A very good chance. 5 minutes into the match, FCJ's goal looked a bit too open when Rudolf Engbers came free, but Eric Ottenhof reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rudolf Engbers in the 5th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Eric Ottenhof prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After having played for 9 minutes, Rudolf Engbers managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC subzoRRR's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rudolf Engbers was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 11 minutes, Lucas Collins mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FCJ and the FC subzoRRR players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of FC subzoRRR booed when FCJ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lucas Collins didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 13th minute, Andrzej Majtyka made a precise shot to the right of Gerard Huizen. FC subzoRRR's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. A collision led to FCJ getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Emile Fokkelman hit a great ball. Gerard Huizen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andrzej Majtyka in the 29th minute of play. Eric Ottenhof made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rudolf Engbers in the 36th minute of play. In the 38th match minute, FC subzoRRR was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dennis Soer to maneuver through the defense. Jan-Peter Wegman took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 39th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Gerard Huizen. FC subzoRRR's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Rudolf Engbers's late challenge caught a FCJ's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rudolf Engbers helped the player get up and apologised. Rudolf Engbers kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. Andreas Beishuizen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Gerard Huizen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Rudolf Engbers to make the kick off. Eric Ottenhof showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rudolf Engbers in the 57th minute of the match. The throw-in from Lucas Hansma in the 64th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by FCJ's Klaas Som. FCJ's Eric Ottenhof played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rudolf Engbers in the 67th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rudolf Engbers in the 73rd minute of play forced FCJ's goalkeeper Eric Ottenhof to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 75 played minutes FCJ got a freekick which was hit by Emile Fokkelman. 77 minutes into the game, Berend van Someren cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Eric Ottenhof was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. FC subzoRRR's Gerard Huizen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andrzej Majtyka in the 81st minute of play. 82 minutes into the match, FCJ's goal looked a bit too open when Rudolf Engbers came free, but Eric Ottenhof reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in FC subzoRRR reached it. The audience thought a goal was coming when Andrzej Majtyka got free with Gerard Huizen in the 85th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. FCJ's Eric Ottenhof played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rudolf Engbers in the 88th minute of play. When Henry Oorschot fell near the penalty area in the 89th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FCJ's protests and gave Henry Oorschot a yellow card for diving instead. In the 89th match minute, FCJ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Henry Oorschot to maneuver through the defense.
