Spectators: 7465 (Terracing: 5600, Seating: 1716, VIP seats: 149) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Theo van Zijp got the match started through his kick off. In the 4th minute of the match Giel van der Wiel shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Foeke Spaan showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Roel Hesseling showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Theo van Zijp in the 7th minute of the match. Pimpelmee SV's Gijs Wegman got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Theo van Zijp received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Roel Hesseling tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Pimpelmee SV's Gijs Wegman, in the 26th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Pimpelmee SV. When Pimpelmee SV's Mario Hoffhuis in the 28th minute got a chance for a shot 28th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Reek S.C.'s goalie prevented a goal. After a defensive mix-up in Reek S.C.'s zone, Mario Hoffhuis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Foeke Spaan came out of the goal and Mario Hoffhuis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 36th minute Theo van Zijp shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roel Hesseling saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pimpelmee SV's Roel Hesseling proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 39th minute of the match, managed to save Pimpelmee SV from getting a goal against them. Roel Hesseling came out of the goal in the 43rd minute to try and stop a shot by Reek S.C.'s Carlo Haydon. But to his dismay, Carlo Haydon quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. 49 minutes into the match, Reek S.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Gijs Wegman came free, but Foeke Spaan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Theo van Zijp in the 53rd minute of play forced Pimpelmee SV's goalkeeper Roel Hesseling to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Foeke Spaan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gijs Wegman in the 65th minute of the match. If Carlo Haydon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Theo van Zijp sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Theo van Zijp had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Reek S.C. had won after a very even match.
