When Iswadi Sujarwadi fell near the penalty area in the 9th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Val's protests and gave Iswadi Sujarwadi a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Val getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Iswadi Sujarwadi hit a great ball. Job van Dalfsen kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Val's zone, Remco de Cler stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gong Chao Chang came out of the goal and Remco de Cler tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 14th minute Erik de Winter shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gong Chao Chang saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Val's Iswadi Sujarwadi was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 20th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. After 35 minutes, Hans Zuiverloon mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Val and the Delson FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Delson FC booed when Val was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hans Zuiverloon didn't get a good kick on the ball. Remco de Cler fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gong Chao Chang having to interfere. Job van Dalfsen kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. In the 45th minute, Remco de Cler left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Delson FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Iswadi Sujarwadi made a kick off. After 52 played minutes Val got a freekick which was hit by Maciej Cymbal. After having played for 53 minutes, Remco de Cler managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Delson FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Remco de Cler was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Val getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Hans Zuiverloon hit a great ball. Gong Chao Chang made an important save on a dangerous shot by Remco de Cler in the 56th minute. In the 59th match minute, Val was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Iswadi Sujarwadi to maneuver through the defense. Delson FC's Jan-Joost Harms managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Chiel Zandberg in the 63 minute of the game. Val's Gong Chao Chang proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 64th minute of the match, managed to save Val from getting a goal against them. Huib Dekens hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Val's Job van Dalfsen got a free kick in the 71st minute. In the 74th minute the ball was on its way in behind Delson FC's goalkeeper Thomas Dirks, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Delson FC's Thomas Dirks played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Iswadi Sujarwadi in the 77th minute of play. Alfredo McGee received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Thomas Dirks tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hans Zuiverloon recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thomas Dirks showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Iswadi Sujarwadi, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. Iswadi Sujarwadi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 89th match minute, Delson FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marnix Schuiling to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Delson FC's Marnix Schuiling got a free kick in the 90th minute. 95 minutes into the match, Iswadi Sujarwadi notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Delson FC's Thomas Dirks. Thomas Dirks was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Val walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
