Bill Korfs showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anton Aerssen, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rafael Baars in the 17th minute of play forced Viko's goalkeeper Bill Korfs to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Frits de Hoop hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Viko's Bill Korfs played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anton Aerssen in the 25th minute of play. After having played for 27 minutes, Rafael Baars managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vinzendi FC Retired!'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Rafael Baars was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Alex Oosterhof's late challenge caught a Vinzendi FC Retired!'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alex Oosterhof helped the player get up and apologised. In the 37th match minute, Viko was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alex Oosterhof to maneuver through the defense. In the 38th minute, Anton Aerssen left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Vinzendi FC Retired! fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Arjen Das struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Martien Eisenga didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Viko. Martien Eisenga made a fantastic save in the 47th minute, when Auke van Wonderen sent off a good shot on target.

Martien Eisenga took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arjen Das, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 52 minutes into the game, Marinus van Zwam was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Vinzendi FC Retired!'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Viko the free kick. Vinzendi FC Retired!'s Martien Eisenga played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Simon Sándor in the 56th minute of play. Ferdi Engbers sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Ferdi Engbers had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 84 minutes into the match, Vinzendi FC Retired!'s goal looked a bit too open when Arjen Das came free, but Martien Eisenga reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 87thth minute of the game Auke van Wonderen who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Vinzendi FC Retired!'s Martien Eisenga was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Rafael Baars received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Bill Korfs tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Martien Eisenga showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Auke van Wonderen in the 93rd minute of the match. Ferdi Engbers kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. 96 minutes into the match, Vinzendi FC Retired!'s Anton Aerssen sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Bill Korfs narrowly saved just below the crossbar.
