Joris Tulner's late challenge caught a Wings on Ice's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Joris Tulner helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Keinseman VV's Joris Tulner got a free kick in the 2nd minute. After 6 minutes, Luuk Verheije mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Wings on Ice and the Keinseman VV players grew even worse after the yellow card. Luuk Verheije hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. A hard shot 10 in the game by Brain Hulshof from a close distance when the talented Jacco Popken managed to make a qualified save. Wings on Ice's players were relieved. Lex Onrust hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. Jacco Popken came out of the goal in the 14th minute to try and stop a shot by Keinseman VV's Dennis Robbermond. But to his dismay, Dennis Robbermond quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. A collision led to Keinseman VV getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Jurgen van Mol hit a great ball. When Luuk Verheije came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the Wings on Ice fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luuk Verheije couldn't finish the play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lex Onrust in the 31st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jacco Popken prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jurgen van Mol got a throw-in 33 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Dennis Robbermond. In the 45th minute, Ted Schrage hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd rose to their feet as Keinseman VV's Lex Onrust slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Jacco Popken. That made the score 3-0 after 47 minutes of play.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Dennis Robbermond stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 54 played minutes Wings on Ice got a freekick which was hit by Ed Batenburg. Lex Onrust missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 56 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Jacco Popken right hand side. Dennis Robbermond received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Jacco Popken tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 59th match minute, Wings on Ice was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ed Batenburg to maneuver through the defense. Brain Hulshof recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lex Onrust in the 69th minute of play forced Wings on Ice's goalkeeper Jacco Popken to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 76 played minutes Wings on Ice got a freekick which was hit by Luuk Verheije. Jouke Wielens kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. Luuk Verheije was shown his second yellow card after 79 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After a rather tough play, Wings on Ice's Luuk Verheije got a free kick in the 80th minute. In the 83rd minute, Joris Tulner hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lex Onrust charged in rather forcefully in the 94th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lex Onrust the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Jacco Popken didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Lex Onrust went, in the 97th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Keinseman VV fully deserved thier win.
