Marcel Struik showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomás Moita in the 4th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when 俞威谦 got free with Rob Kort in the 25th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 26thth minute of the game Mathieu Weken who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Achterwehl's Marcel Struik was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Biervliet's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Tomás Moita in the 27th minute. When Tam Stalder fell near the penalty area in the 32nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Achterwehl's protests and gave Tam Stalder a yellow card for diving instead. Tam Stalder kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. With a little luck, Biervliet's Rob Kort got control of the ball when 俞威谦 tried to sneak it across the goal line. Rob Kort came out of the goal in the 37th minute to try and stop a shot by Achterwehl's 俞威谦. But to his dismay, 俞威谦 quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Rob Kort made a fantastic save in the 39th minute, when 俞威谦 sent off a good shot on target. Marcel Struik made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ab van Zwam in the 41st minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Achterwehl's zone, Tomás Moita stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marcel Struik came out of the goal and Tomás Moita tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Biervliet booed when Achterwehl was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Teo van den Akker didn't get a good kick on the ball. 46 minutes into the game, Tomás Moita was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Biervliet's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Achterwehl the free kick. 俞威谦 received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Rob Kort tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tomás Moita stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 俞威谦 sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 66 played minutes Biervliet got a freekick which was hit by Henry Bakker. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. 俞威谦 ran back to his position shaking his head. Mathieu Weken in the 74thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Marcel Struik, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Arjen Ommen's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rob Kort read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 83rd minute of play. 俞威谦 sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. Rob Kort had in the 96thth minute some difficulties stopping 俞威谦's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Achterwehl were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Biervliet for a fine match.
