In the 26th minute Pierre Breugel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marco Spijker saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. FC de Patjakkers's Paul de Boer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jos Maseland in the 55th minute of play. In the 61st play minute Joost Veenhuis came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Marco Spijker. 1-3. In the 64th match minute, FC de Patjakkers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eulalio Gaufred to maneuver through the defense. 67 minutes into the match, FC de Patjakkers's goal looked a bit too open when Jos Maseland came free, but Paul de Boer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The AJAX AMSTERDAM fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. FC de Patjakkers were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
