Bouwerschap's supporters rose to their feet, but Stanyo Bosakov was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nigel Hebels breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Bouwerschap's Evaristo Pacorro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 98th minute of the match, managed to save Bouwerschap from getting a goal against them. When the match was over HVC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Bouwerschap throughout the match.
