Spectators: 7515 (Terracing: 5875, Seating: 1575, VIP seats: 65) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Mathijs Grommers started the match with the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mathijs Grommers in the 6th minute of play forced Suttum FC's goalkeeper Dráusio Duarte to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 7th minute, Pascal Zalm ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dráusio Duarte was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. In the 9thth minute of the game Pascal Zalm who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Suttum FC's Dráusio Duarte was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 10th minute, Dick Trenning hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dráusio Duarte took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pascal Zalm, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 14 minutes into the match, Suttum FC's goal looked a bit too open when Mathijs Grommers came free, but Dráusio Duarte reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dráusio Duarte didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Pascal Zalm went, in the 20th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. Dráusio Duarte came out of the goal in the 22nd minute to try and stop a shot by Winthont FC's Pascal Zalm. But to his dismay, Pascal Zalm quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. In the 27th minute Pascal Zalm shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dráusio Duarte saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dick Trenning made in the 29th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Elco Popping immediately put the ball in play. Dráusio Duarte took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mathijs Grommers, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Winthont FC's Pascal Zalm in the 32nd minute got a chance for a shot 32nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Suttum FC's goalie prevented a goal. When Winthont FC's Pascal Zalm, in the 32nd minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Winthont FC. 34 minutes into the game, Dick Trenning threw the ball into play from the sideline. Winthont FC's Geert Arend Roodenburg quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Pascal Zalm might have been able to make a better finish in the 36th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dráusio Duarte. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Pascal Zalm ran back to his position shaking his head. Dráusio Duarte made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pascal Zalm in the 36th minute of play. In the 38th minute Ulises Vimaro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dennis Beerthuis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 41 minutes, Pascal Zalm managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Winthont FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pascal Zalm was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Mathijs Grommers hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Ulises Vimaro made the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Suttum FC booed when Winthont FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abilio Pages didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dennis Beerthuis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ulises Vimaro in the 58th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Pascal Zalm in the 62nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dráusio Duarte saved Suttum FC from getting behind. The audience was convinced that Pascal Zalm's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dráusio Duarte was relentless in the 63rd minute of the game. The audience thought a goal was coming when Pascal Zalm got free with Dráusio Duarte in the 65th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Dennis Beerthuis came out of the goal in the 67th minute to try and stop a shot by Suttum FC's Sjaak Borker. But to his dismay, Sjaak Borker quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-4. Winthont FC's Hermengildo Nesor was substituted for Pascal Zalm. Dick Trenning made in the 71st minute of the game a quick throw-in and Elco Popping immediately put the ball in play. Dick Trenning made in the 75th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Winthont FC's Henrique Ramalho. Igor Fujara received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Dráusio Duarte tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hermengildo Nesor took the ball and in the 86 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dráusio Duarte. Dráusio Duarte dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-5. If Hermengildo Nesor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Dráusio Duarte took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hermengildo Nesor, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hermengildo Nesor's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 97thth minute, Dráusio Duarte skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The Winthont FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
