Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) In the 3rd minute Otutodilichukwu Daika shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aderounmu Njoku saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 5 minutes into the match, Yege Abhiele dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Aderounmu Njoku, 1-0. Akpan Hashimu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Iheanacho Omole tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 14 minutes, Akpan Hashimu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Daniel united and the Theorah FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Chukwujamuike Onwuzuruike received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Aderounmu Njoku tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 19 minutes, Stefano Olatunji made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. Theorah FC's Iheanacho Omole tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Iheanacho Omole showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stefano Olatunji, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. The referee ignored Theorah FC's protests and gave Almu Adefala a yellow card for diving instead. 28 minutes into the game, one of Theorah FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave Daniel united a penalty, 29 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Stefano Olatunji, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Theorah FC's Iheanacho Omole. 1-2. Iheanacho Omole took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Okwy Obodo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Daniel united's Aderounmu Njoku played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Otutodilichukwu Daika in the 37th minute of play. Yege Abhiele took the ball and in the 38 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Aderounmu Njoku. Aderounmu Njoku dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Yege Abhiele during the 43rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Theorah FC's Yege Abhiele got a free kick in the 43rd minute. With an all-out effort, Theorah FC's Aderounmu Njoku threw himself towards the right post 45 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Chukwujamuike Onwuzuruike, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Aderounmu Njoku made an important save on a dangerous shot by Peter Oni Ayodele in the 46th minute. After 47 played minutes Daniel united got a freekick which was hit by Akpan Hashimu.

The wind increased when Chukwujamuike Onwuzuruike made the kick off in the second half. Akpan Hashimu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 60 played minutes Theorah FC got a freekick which was hit by Tamarautare Chinemenma. Abass Otelaja could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 60th minute of the match, but Iheanacho Omole made a huge save. If Okwy Obodo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Daniel united's Aderounmu Njoku played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yege Abhiele in the 63rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yege Abhiele in the 65th minute of play forced Daniel united's goalkeeper Aderounmu Njoku to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aderounmu Njoku showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yege Abhiele in the 67th minute of the match. When Akpan Hashimu came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the Daniel united fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Akpan Hashimu couldn't finish the play. Okwy Obodo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Daniel united's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 84 minutes into the match, Daniel united's goal looked a bit too open when Otutodilichukwu Daika came free, but Aderounmu Njoku reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Stefano Olatunji recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 92 minutes, Kunaiyi Oladapo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Daniel united and the Theorah FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 92nd minute, Kunaiyi Oladapo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Daniel united played a much better game than Theorah FC and deserved their victory. The Theorah FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
