In the 11th minute Kenneth Mallia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gianluca Zampa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Roderick Cini hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. Kenneth Mallia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Gianluca Zampa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tyrone Terribile showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tommy Troisi, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tommy Troisi in the 32nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tyrone Terribile prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Arthur Bugelli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 37 minutes into the match, Dingli's goalkeeper Gianluca Zampa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by James Ebejer. After a defensive mix-up in Dingli's zone, Arthur Bugelli stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gianluca Zampa came out of the goal and Arthur Bugelli tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Skull Tower MFC's Arthur Bugelli got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

In the 54th minute, Roderick Cini hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tyrone Terribile showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tommy Troisi, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. Marco Tortell's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Tyrone Terribile firmly grabbed it by the left post. Tyrone Terribile showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tommy Troisi in the 68th minute of the match. Tyrone Terribile made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tommy Troisi in the 69th minute of play. Skull Tower MFC's attentive Kenneth Mallia managed to snatch the ball when Justin Drago made a throw-in in the 73rd minute of the game. Tommy Troisi might have been able to make a better finish in the 81st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tyrone Terribile. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tommy Troisi ran back to his position shaking his head. Skull Tower MFC's James Ebejer got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Arthur Bugelli might have been able to make a better finish in the 85th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gianluca Zampa. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Arthur Bugelli ran back to his position shaking his head. After 86 minutes of play, Skull Tower MFC's James Ebejer made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gianluca Zampa was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Tommy Troisi in the 90th minute of play forced Skull Tower MFC's goalkeeper Tyrone Terribile to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. There was no doubt that Skull Tower MFC were the better team. Skull Tower MFC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
