Spectators: 9256 (Terracing: 6943, Seating: 2129, VIP seats: 184) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Kenneth Mugliett started the match with the kick off. Tommy Salerno fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Frederick Hili having to interfere. A collision led to Calderon Stars getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Joseph Montanaro hit a great ball. After 12 played minutes, Banter FC's Peter Paul Preca shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Neville Bajada came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Banter FC reached it. After 13 played minutes Calderon Stars got a freekick which was hit by Gary Musu. 14 minutes into the match, Clyde De Giovanni notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Calderon Stars's Neville Bajada. Neville Bajada was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Frederick Hili made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cumhur Onsal in the 17th minute. 23 minutes into the game, Tommy Salerno cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Frederick Hili was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Cumhur Onsal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 31 minutes into the match, Banter FC's goalkeeper Frederick Hili had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Kenneth Mugliett. 32 minutes into the match, Joseph Montanaro notched a goal, 4-1, to the right of Banter FC's Frederick Hili. Frederick Hili was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kenneth Mugliett in the 38th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Frederick Hili saved Banter FC from getting behind. When the match had gone on for 39 minutes, Tommy Salerno took a quick shot and it went in 5-1 without a chance for Frederick Hili to make any attempt to save it. In the 42nd minute Kenneth Mugliett shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Frederick Hili saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 44 minutes, Joseph Montanaro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Calderon Stars's supporters crossed their fingers, but Joseph Montanaro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Frederick Hili made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kenneth Mugliett in the 45th minute of play. Frederick Hili made a fantastic save in the 47th minute, when Cumhur Onsal sent off a good shot on target. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Peter Paul Preca stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Cumhur Onsal had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Frederick Hili. Banter FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cumhur Onsal was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-1. In the 54th minute Cumhur Onsal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Frederick Hili saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 55 minutes, Cumhur Onsal managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Calderon Stars's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cumhur Onsal was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 57th minute, Joseph Montanaro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Banter FC's Frederick Hili played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kenneth Mugliett in the 64th minute of play. 67 minutes into the match, Banter FC's goal looked a bit too open when Cumhur Onsal came free, but Frederick Hili reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 68th minute, Tommy Salerno made a precise shot to the right of Frederick Hili. Banter FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 8-1. After 70 minutes, Peter Paul Testa mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Banter FC and the Calderon Stars players grew even worse after the yellow card. Peter Paul Testa kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. Tommy Salerno succeeded in the game's 72nd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 9-1. 76 minutes into the match, Banter FC's goal looked a bit too open when Kenneth Mugliett came free, but Frederick Hili reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 77th minute, Joseph Montanaro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Peter Paul Testa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 78th minute of the match, but Neville Bajada made a huge save. Frederick Hili showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kenneth Mugliett in the 79th minute of the match. 81 minutes into the game, Kenneth Mugliett cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 10-1. Frederick Hili was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Kenneth Mugliett had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 85 minutes of play, Calderon Stars's Cumhur Onsal made it 11-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Frederick Hili was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 93rd minute Joseph Montanaro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Frederick Hili saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the referee ended the match the Calderon Stars players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
