After 11 played minutes, Brajkovci FK's Rade Aliti shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Bane Pandev came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Brajkovci FK reached it. Ljupčo Nacev hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. Goce Maznov recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Naste Sokolov during the 15th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Fc Pilaveci's Naste Sokolov got a free kick in the 15th minute. Bane Pandev made an important save on a dangerous shot by Goce Maznov in the 16th minute. Tomislav Paskalov recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Besim Dimitrovski charged in rather forcefully in the 23rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Besim Dimitrovski the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. When Goce Maznov came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the Brajkovci FK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Goce Maznov couldn't finish the play. 28 minutes into the match, Brajkovci FK's Tomislav Paskalov sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Bane Pandev narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 29th minute, Tomislav Paskalov got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 35th minute, one of Brajkovci FK:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Brajkovci FK. The referee gave Fc Pilaveci a penalty, 36 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Spiridon Rankov, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Brajkovci FK's Pandil Vasilev. 1-1. After a defensive mix-up in Brajkovci FK's zone, Bojan Dukov stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pandil Vasilev came out of the goal and Bojan Dukov tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Sima Šiškovski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 47th minute, Dame Ringov hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Naste Sokolov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 49th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

After 56 minutes, Dame Ringov mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Brajkovci FK and the Fc Pilaveci players grew even worse after the yellow card. Sima Šiškovski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pandil Vasilev having to interfere. Fc Pilaveci's Bojan Dukov got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Brajkovci FK's Tomislav Paskalov in the 65th minute got a chance for a shot 65th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. After having played for 81 minutes, Tomislav Paskalov managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Brajkovci FK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tomislav Paskalov was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Bane Pandev showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Goce Maznov in the 87th minute of the match. The supporters of Brajkovci FK booed when Fc Pilaveci was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 98 match minutes in a wonderful position. Besim Dimitrovski didn't get a good kick on the ball. Brajkovci FK were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
