In the 19th minute, Gelu Bolcaș reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Rupert Schmitt. The goal made the score 1-0. In the 22nd minute, luxsTarss's Christian Achenbach dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. 26 minutes into the match, Stanway's goal looked a bit too open when Adrian Modig came free, but Rupert Schmitt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Pol Bodenschatz during the 26th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 27th minute, Pol Bodenschatz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rupert Schmitt stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Adrian Modig's shot from short distance in the 30th minute. The supporters of luxsTarss booed when Stanway was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Friedrich Juncker didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rupert Schmitt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gelu Bolcaș, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute.
