Black Shoot Dzialoszyn's Johannes Berthold played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fabio Caduff in the 11th minute of play. 13 minutes into the game, Philip Eugster was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Black Shoot Dzialoszyn's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Wem the free kick. After 13 played minutes Black Shoot Dzialoszyn got a freekick which was hit by Philip Eugster. If Philip Eugster had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Leopold Schäpper sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Johannes Berthold didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Fabio Caduff went, in the 29th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fabio Caduff in the 35th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Johannes Berthold prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 37th minute, Fabio Caduff left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Wem fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. 43 minutes into the match, Anton Weirath had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Johannes Berthold. Black Shoot Dzialoszyn's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Anton Weirath was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Fabio Caduff was the one to do the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Black Shoot Dzialoszyn's zone, Fabio Caduff stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Johannes Berthold came out of the goal and Fabio Caduff tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Etienne Brunhardt fell near the penalty area in the 53rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Black Shoot Dzialoszyn's protests and gave Etienne Brunhardt a yellow card for diving instead. In the 53rd minute, Etienne Brunhardt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Johannes Berthold was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 55th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Lutz Schäpper. 61 minutes into the match, Black Shoot Dzialoszyn's Philip Eugster sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Marko Christen narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Johannes Berthold made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fabio Caduff in the 63rd minute. With his leg Johannes Berthold managed to avoid a goal in the 66thth minute, when Wem's Fabio Caduff fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Boris Müssner charged in rather forcefully in the 66th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Boris Müssner the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Wem booed when Black Shoot Dzialoszyn was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Boris Müssner didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fabian Marxer in the 80th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marko Christen prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Fabio Caduff sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Leopold Schäpper sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Johannes Berthold made a fantastic save in the 93rd minute, when Fabio Caduff sent off a good shot on target. When the final whistle sounded Wem left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Black Shoot Dzialoszyn.
