With a couple of smart ball manuevers Franz Hirsch in the 6th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Vincente Vazquez saved Wootton Bassett City from getting behind. Victor Frick blasted a shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without 白雄桑 having to make a save. Franz Hirsch sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Manuel Biedermann struck a weak shot in the 11th minute. Vincente Vazquez didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Masescha. In the 12th minute Manuel Biedermann shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vincente Vazquez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Manuel Biedermann hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. If Victor Frick had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Victor Frick sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thomas Batliner recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 33rd minute Franz Hirsch shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vincente Vazquez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 34th minute, Anton Loose hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Antonio Zurflüh during the 36th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 38 minutes into the match, Masescha's Franz Hirsch sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Vincente Vazquez narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After some careless play in the Wootton Bassett City defense, Franz Hirsch kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Vincente Vazquez. The Wootton Bassett City fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Vincente Vazquez should have stopped the shot. After the first half Masescha were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Franz Hirsch made a kick off. After 57 played minutes Masescha got a freekick which was hit by Elia Fragasso. Masescha's Franz Hirsch got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Manuel Biedermann had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fredi Schädler hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. After having played for 73 minutes, Victor Frick managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Wootton Bassett City's supporters crossed their fingers, but Victor Frick was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 87th minute, Wootton Bassett City's Pascal Gschwentner seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Pascal Gschwentner the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Wootton Bassett City protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Pascal Gschwentner had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In a very dangerous position, a player in Wootton Bassett City fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 86th minute. Penalty! Wootton Bassett City:s Vincente Vazquez showed great skill when he stopped Benat Figueroa:s penalty. A collision led to Wootton Bassett City getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Thomas Batliner hit a great ball. Wootton Bassett City's defense didn't have a chance, in the 92nd minute, when Franz Hirsch scored to the left of an out of position Vincente Vazquez, making the score, 0-2. Franz Hirsch sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Franz Hirsch who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 96thth minute tested the skills of Vincente Vazquez when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Masescha walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
