With a little luck, Zoid FC's Adriano Zisser got control of the ball when Ferruccio Scalabrino tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of Dynamo Metro FC booed when Zoid FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Filippo Pagliarini didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 12th minute, Dennis Marulli ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Anfilogino Guidone was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. In the 20th minute, Alvise Pavia made a precise shot to the right of Anfilogino Guidone. Dynamo Metro FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. If Dennis Marulli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 25 minutes into the match, Dennis Marulli had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Anfilogino Guidone. Dynamo Metro FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dennis Marulli was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. 31 minutes into the game, Cesare Ferrini was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Zoid FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Dynamo Metro FC the free kick. The supporters of Dynamo Metro FC booed when Zoid FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cesare Ferrini didn't get a good kick on the ball. Adriano Zisser came out of the goal in the 32nd minute to try and stop a shot by Dynamo Metro FC's Alberto Cipolla. But to his dismay, Alberto Cipolla quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Filippo Pagliarini managed to get in a good position for a shot. Zoid FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Filippo Pagliarini was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Anfilogino Guidone breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Alberto Cipolla fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adriano Zisser having to interfere. In the 40th match minute, Zoid FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Filippo Pagliarini to maneuver through the defense. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Zoid FC's goalie and right to Amerigo Lucchetti. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Zoid FC's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-3.

A collision led to Dynamo Metro FC getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Florian Simeoni hit a great ball. Anfilogino Guidone showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dennis Marulli, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. After a rather tough play, Dynamo Metro FC's Florian Simeoni got a free kick in the 57th minute. Alberto Cipolla fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adriano Zisser having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ferruccio Scalabrino in the 63rd minute of play forced Zoid FC's goalkeeper Adriano Zisser to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zoid FC's Adriano Zisser played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alberto Cipolla in the 69th minute of play. Enrico Sasso charged in rather forcefully in the 74th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Enrico Sasso the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 75th minute, the referee gave Zoid FC a penalty. Comunardo Torelli looked confident and blasted the ball into goal by the left post, totally unstoppable for Anfilogino Guidone. After having played for 80 minutes, Alberto Cipolla managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Dynamo Metro FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alberto Cipolla was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Ferruccio Scalabrino came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the Dynamo Metro FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ferruccio Scalabrino couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Ferruccio Scalabrino managed to get in a good position for a shot. Dynamo Metro FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ferruccio Scalabrino was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Adriano Zisser breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Alberto Cipolla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Ferruccio Scalabrino struck a weak shot in the 99th minute. Adriano Zisser didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Dynamo Metro FC. Zoid FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
