In the 15th minute, Gigi Gigio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Bernardo Bevilacqua showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dino Di Iorio in the 17th minute of the match. If Carmine Tamburrini had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 26th minute, Gigi Gigio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kakagol's supporters rose to their feet, but Gigi Gigio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bernardo Bevilacqua breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Felice Leggeri's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alvaro Farese read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 34th minute of play. In the 40th minute, Solbiate Olona's Felice Leggeri ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Alvaro Farese. Alvaro Farese yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Fulvio De Lucia kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Carmine Tamburrini stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Eraldo Verdone kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. Gigi Gigio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 56th minute of the match, but Bernardo Bevilacqua made a huge save. Ettore Giusto struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Alvaro Farese didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Solbiate Olona. An unexpectedly hard shot by Felice Leggeri in the 65th minute of play forced Kakagol's goalkeeper Alvaro Farese to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 67th minute Felice Leggeri shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alvaro Farese saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Solbiate Olona getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Alfonso Mercuri hit a great ball. After 73 played minutes Kakagol got a freekick which was hit by Eraldo Verdone. After having played for 74 minutes, Felice Leggeri managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Solbiate Olona's supporters crossed their fingers, but Felice Leggeri was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Alvaro Farese showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Felice Leggeri in the 77th minute of the match. Bernardo Bevilacqua was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Abelardo Leguizamón showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 80 minute of play. The referee felt a red card was in order, 83 minutes into the game, when Fulvio De Lucia put in a rough tackle. 83 minutes into the game, one of Solbiate Olona:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Dino Di Iorio hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. 99 minutes into the match, Carmine Tamburrini notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of Solbiate Olona's Bernardo Bevilacqua. Bernardo Bevilacqua was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Kakagol eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
