In the 27thth minute of the game Cosimo Guidoni who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but IC Tortuga's Domenico Clemente was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Domenico Clemente made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Florian Rosi in the 29th minute of play. In the 29th match minute, IC Tortuga was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Attilio Pennetta to maneuver through the defense. In the 30th minute, Cosimo Guidoni got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Carlo Alessandro during the 34th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, San Luigi Cormano's Carlo Alessandro got a free kick in the 34th minute. Emanuele Carciofo took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 35th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Alessio Di Giovanni. San Luigi Cormano's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cosimo Guidoni in the 38th minute of play forced IC Tortuga's goalkeeper Domenico Clemente to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Fedele Masi to strike the kick off in the second half. When Alberigo Giannetta fell near the penalty area in the 51st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored IC Tortuga's protests and gave Alberigo Giannetta a yellow card for diving instead. In the 51st match minute, IC Tortuga was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alberigo Giannetta to maneuver through the defense. Alessio Di Giovanni made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fedele Masi in the 77th minute of play. Antonio Brillante fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alessio Di Giovanni having to interfere. 80 minutes into the match, IC Tortuga's Fedele Masi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Alessio Di Giovanni narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Antonio Brillante recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of San Luigi Cormano booed when IC Tortuga was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fabiano Borel didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
