The referee ignored FGI COMUN NUOVO's protests and gave Carter Ramundo a yellow card for diving instead. Carter Ramundo kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. An unexpected shot in the 17th minute by Amerigo Anelli got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Dave Di Pasquale came out of the goal in the 18th minute to try and stop a shot by Беневенто's Enzo Patrizi. Carter Ramundo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fedele Giocondo having to interfere. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dave Di Pasquale prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 83 minutes into the game, Enzo Patrizi cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Dave Di Pasquale was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. FGI COMUN NUOVO's Dave Di Pasquale played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amerigo Anelli in the 89th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Carter Ramundo got free with Fedele Giocondo in the 91st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. There was no doubt that Беневенто were the better team. Беневенто's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
