In the 23rd minute, Filippo Apicella got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 29th minute Filippo Apicella shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anfilogino Poletti saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 31st minute of the match Edoardo Campese shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Anfilogino Poletti showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The audience was convinced that Filippo Apicella's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Anfilogino Poletti was relentless in the 34th minute of the game. Anfilogino Poletti stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Filippo Apicella's shot from short distance in the 36th minute. Real Portici's Anfilogino Gervasi got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Filippo Apicella had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Filippo Apicella made the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Antonio Pan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Sussisa's Anfilogino Poletti played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Flavio Mammarella in the 53rd minute of play. After 54 minutes of play, Real Portici's Filippo Apicella made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Anfilogino Poletti was left in no man's land by his defense there! Anfilogino Poletti showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anfilogino Gervasi in the 59th minute of the match. Sussisa's Anfilogino Poletti played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Filippo Apicella in the 69th minute of play. After some careless play in the Sussisa defense, Flavio Mammarella kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Anfilogino Poletti. The Sussisa fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Anfilogino Poletti should have stopped the shot. Fabio De Simone hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. In the 86th minute the ball was on its way in behind Real Portici's goalkeeper Alessandro Picca, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Flavio Mammarella in the 93rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Anfilogino Poletti saved Sussisa from getting behind. Real Portici's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
