Garbatella AF's Alvise Boninsegna played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alfons Lindman in the 17th minute of play. Alvise Boninsegna didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alfons Lindman went, in the 19th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Alvise Boninsegna made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alfons Lindman in the 21st minute of play. In the 24th minute Alfons Lindman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alvise Boninsegna saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alfons Lindman in the 26th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alvise Boninsegna prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 27 minutes, Alfons Lindman made it 1-2 with a short kick to the right side. Garbatella AF's Alvise Boninsegna tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 30th minute Ciro Maio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alvise Boninsegna saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Xacca Football Club's Ermanno Nero got control of the ball when Ciro Iachini tried to sneak it across the goal line. Sérgio Amaral sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Xacca Football Club's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alfons Lindman was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Garbatella AF's zone, Ciro Maio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alvise Boninsegna came out of the goal and Ciro Maio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience was convinced that Alfons Lindman's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Alvise Boninsegna was relentless in the 43rd minute of the game. Alfons Lindman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alvise Boninsegna having to interfere. Alfons Lindman took the ball and in the 69 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alvise Boninsegna. Alvise Boninsegna dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-4. Mile Grbac hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Alfons Lindman's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Alvise Boninsegna was relentless in the 76th minute of the game. Alvise Boninsegna showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alfons Lindman in the 78th minute of the match. The Xacca Football Club fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ermanno Nero should have stopped the shot. Alfons Lindman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match was over Xacca Football Club could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Garbatella AF throughout the match.
