In the 13th minute, Ferruccio Caiola sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Garniga Nuova AFC's Carmine Foni didn't even have to move. Carmine Foni took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anthony Trasatti, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Antonello Colantoni sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Antonello Colantoni received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Amedeo Bertini tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Antonello Colantoni had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Antonello Colantoni sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Amedeo Bertini came out of the goal in the 44th minute to try and stop a shot by Garniga Nuova AFC's Cristoforo Proietto. But to his dismay, Cristoforo Proietto quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Antonello Colantoni to strike the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Garniga Nuova AFC getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Cristoforo Proietto hit a great ball. Anthony Trasatti was extremely unlucky when he, in the 58th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Carmine Foni showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Diego Marinelli, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bianco Taraborrelli during the 66th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 70 minutes, Bruno Marsilio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Garniga Nuova AFC and the Storm FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. An unexpectedly hard shot by Diego Marinelli in the 73rd minute of play forced Garniga Nuova AFC's goalkeeper Carmine Foni to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 75th minute the ball was on its way in behind Garniga Nuova AFC's goalkeeper Carmine Foni, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Carmine Foni made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Diego Marinelli in the 80th minute of play. Alessandro Di Palma struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. Amedeo Bertini didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Garniga Nuova AFC. 89 minutes into the game, Antonello Colantoni cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Amedeo Bertini was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Antonello Colantoni in the 93rd minute of play forced Storm FC's goalkeeper Amedeo Bertini to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Garniga Nuova AFC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
