An unexpectedly hard shot by Donato Sivieri in the 34th minute of play forced Stanga's goalkeeper Ennio Lucente to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Stanga's Dave Ciapponi got a free kick in the 34th minute. Ennio Lucente took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bruno Colaussi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. It was a well-played corner which Dave Tundo managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Donato Sivieri struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Ennio Lucente didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ponte Abbadesse AFC. Ennio Falcone kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. After the first half Ponte Abbadesse AFC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Donato Sivieri made a kick off.
