Armando Carafa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Camillo Marinetti in the 7th minute of the match. 10 minutes into the match, Proraso F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Ermanno Di Pietro came free, but Armando Carafa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Anselmo Spada could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 12th minute of the match, but Alvise Carosella made a huge save. Ermanno Di Pietro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Armando Carafa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 18 minutes into the match, Proraso F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Camillo Marinetti came free, but Armando Carafa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Magreta fans' excitement grew in the 20th match minute when Magreta's Camillo Marinetti looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Armando Carafa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Camillo Marinetti, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dino Baggio charged in rather forcefully in the 30th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Armando Carafa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Magreta. Alvise Carosella breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Diego Brambilla to strike the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Proraso F.C.'s Edmondo Marinelli got a free kick in the 52nd minute. Camillo Marinetti sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When Anselmo Spada came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the Proraso F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Anselmo Spada couldn't finish the play. Camillo Marinetti recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Magreta were awarded a corner in the 81th minute after Proraso F.C.'s defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Fortunato Santilli took the corner. Camillo Marinetti struck a weak shot in the 83rd minute. Armando Carafa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Magreta. If Camillo Marinetti had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Camillo Marinetti fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Armando Carafa having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Magreta's Elia Petrosino got a free kick in the 94th minute. Magreta's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
