Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Armin Pollastrini started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Nosari FC's Concetto Serra got a good chance for a goal in the 4th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Fausto Spada kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. Armin Pollastrini recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 9th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 17 minutes, Claudio Troilo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Santa Marinella's supporters crossed their fingers, but Claudio Troilo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Claudio Troilo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ermanno Martinelli having to interfere. Demetrio De Angelis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ermanno Martinelli took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Demetrio De Angelis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 40 played minutes Santa Marinella got a freekick which was hit by Bianco Testa. The audience thought a goal was coming when Concetto Serra got free with Amos Lucentini in the 41st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Concetto Serra's late challenge caught a Santa Marinella's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Concetto Serra helped the player get up and apologised. In the 45th match minute, Nosari FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Concetto Serra to maneuver through the defense. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Claudio Troilo to make the kick off. In the 60th minute Armin Pollastrini shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amos Lucentini saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Edmondo Roberto kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. Federico Baciadonne hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the Santa Marinella defense, Armin Pollastrini kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Amos Lucentini. The Santa Marinella fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Amos Lucentini should have stopped the shot. Concetto Serra sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Concetto Serra's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Amos Lucentini read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 77th minute of play. After 79 played minutes Santa Marinella got a freekick which was hit by Bianco Testa. Armin Pollastrini recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Emanuele Cavanna recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Santa Marinella's Amos Lucentini played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Concetto Serra in the 88th minute of play. Amos Lucentini showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Concetto Serra in the 95th minute of the match. In the 96th minute, Concetto Serra left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Nosari FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0.
