In the 17th minute of the match Filippo Corvo sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Alessandro De Francesco skillfully saved the ball. Alessandro De Francesco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fedele Pelliccioni, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 20 minutes into the match, Castelnuovo's goalkeeper Fulvio Tondi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alexander Tellini. In the 22nd minute, Castelnuovo's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Davide Petito fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. 26 minutes into the game, Alberigo Donatelli was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Conscenti's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Castelnuovo the free kick. After 26 played minutes Conscenti got a freekick which was hit by Alberigo Donatelli. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fedele Pelliccioni in the 36th minute of play forced Conscenti's goalkeeper Alessandro De Francesco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Davide Petito received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Fulvio Tondi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 40th minute, Fedele Pelliccioni left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Castelnuovo fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Alessio Primavera received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Fulvio Tondi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Fedele Pelliccioni to strike the kick off in the second half. Fulvio Tondi came out of the goal in the 52nd minute to try and stop a shot by Conscenti's Davide Petito. But to his dismay, Davide Petito quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. If Alexander Tellini had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fulvio Tondi didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Davide Petito went, in the 60th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. Davide Petito took the ball and in the 69 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fulvio Tondi. Fulvio Tondi dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-2. Alessandro De Francesco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fedele Pelliccioni, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Conscenti's Alexander Tellini in the 74th minute got a chance for a shot 74th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Castelnuovo's goalie prevented a goal. In the 77th minute, Ennio Del Duca hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 78th minute of the match Filippo Corvo shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Alessandro De Francesco showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Alessandro De Francesco made a fantastic save in the 83rd minute, when Fabiano Piretti sent off a good shot on target. A hard shot 87 in the game by Fabiano Piretti from a close distance when the talented Alessandro De Francesco managed to make a qualified save. Conscenti's players were relieved. If Armando Ciraci had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 92nd minute Fedele Pelliccioni shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alessandro De Francesco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alessandro De Francesco made a fantastic save in the 94th minute, when Fabiano Piretti sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, Conscenti's Bianco Maurizi got a free kick in the 94th minute.
