Domenico Renzetti made a fantastic save in the 6th minute, when Dave Giuliani sent off a good shot on target. After a defensive mix-up in Cornocchio FC's zone, Emanuele Marconi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Domenico Renzetti came out of the goal and Emanuele Marconi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Fortunato Gentile had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Anthony Franceschini made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fortunato Gentile in the 11th minute of play. Cornocchio FC's Domenico Renzetti proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 16th minute of the match, managed to save Cornocchio FC from getting a goal against them. Emanuele Marconi in the 17thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Domenico Renzetti, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Domenico Renzetti took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emanuele Marconi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 21st minute Emanuele Marconi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Domenico Renzetti saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Cornocchio FC's Ermanno Preda got a free kick in the 22nd minute. When Beppe Manfredi came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the Vecchiazzano fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Beppe Manfredi couldn't finish the play. 28 minutes into the match, Cornocchio FC's goalkeeper Domenico Renzetti had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Emanuele Marconi. With a little luck, Cornocchio FC's Domenico Renzetti got control of the ball when Dave Giuliani tried to sneak it across the goal line. Cornocchio FC's Domenico Renzetti played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emanuele Marconi in the 32nd minute of play. Fortunato Gentile received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Ferdinando Sciascia recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Domenico Renzetti stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Emanuele Marconi's shot from short distance in the 38th minute. Alessio Berardi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Domenico Renzetti tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dave Giuliani sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Domenico Renzetti didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ferdinando Sciascia went, in the 47th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Emanuele Marconi to strike the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Cornocchio FC getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Edoardo Pani hit a great ball. The supporters of Cornocchio FC booed when Vecchiazzano was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ferdinando Sciascia didn't get a good kick on the ball. Beppe Manfredi hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. If Dave Giuliani had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match had gone on for 67 minutes, Emanuele Marconi put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Domenico Renzetti. In the 71st minute Dave Giuliani shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Domenico Renzetti saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 72 played minutes Vecchiazzano got a freekick which was hit by Damiano Vida. Emanuele Marconi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Domenico Renzetti tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Cornocchio FC getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Ercole Porreca hit a great ball. In the 78th minute, Ferdinando Sciascia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emanuele Marconi in the 82nd minute of play forced Cornocchio FC's goalkeeper Domenico Renzetti to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Domenico Renzetti made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Donato Crema in the 84th minute of play. If Emanuele Marconi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 90 minutes into the match, Ferdinando Sciascia notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Cornocchio FC's Domenico Renzetti. Domenico Renzetti was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ferdinando Sciascia in the 93rd minute of play forced Cornocchio FC's goalkeeper Domenico Renzetti to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Domenico Renzetti stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dave Giuliani's shot from short distance in the 96th minute. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Vecchiazzano had played much better football throughout.
