Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Olmo's Fausto Domina started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Felice Terrasi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adriano Riccitelli in the 4th minute of the match. Felice Terrasi came out of the goal in the 5th minute to try and stop a shot by Cassanese's Ernesto Placidi. But to his dismay, Ernesto Placidi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Ernesto Placidi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Felice Terrasi having to interfere. 14 minutes into the match, Cassanese's Alfonso Palmucci sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Felice Terrasi narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Cassanese's Ernesto Placidi got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 17 minutes into the game, Cassanese's Ferruccio Abbagnale nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Felice Terrasi made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Fausto Domina blasted a shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Alfredo Ottaviani having to make a save. Christian Piccoli hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. If Alfonso Palmucci had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 32 minutes into the match, Olmo's goal looked a bit too open when Ernesto Placidi came free, but Felice Terrasi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Anfilogino Papa's late challenge caught a Olmo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Anfilogino Papa helped the player get up and apologised. After 36 played minutes Cassanese got a freekick which was hit by Anfilogino Papa. Aurelio Giacomini missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 37 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Alfredo Ottaviani right hand side. Ferruccio Abbagnale took the ball and in the 40 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Felice Terrasi. Felice Terrasi dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. Olmo's Adriano Castrucci got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Cassanese's Ferruccio Abbagnale got a free kick in the 47th minute.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Alfonso Palmucci to make the kick off. Fausto Domina received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Alfredo Ottaviani tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ernesto Placidi got free with Felice Terrasi in the 55th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Thanks to some nice moves Frank Cirulli could shoot a difficult shot in the 68th minute, which Felice Terrasi however easily saved by the left post. In the 69th minute, Anselmo Di Silvio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cassanese's Ernesto Placidi got a good chance for a goal in the 70th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ilias Balouris during the 75th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Olmo getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Ilias Balouris hit a great ball. After having played for 82 minutes, Anselmo Di Silvio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Olmo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Anselmo Di Silvio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Fausto Domina struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. Alfredo Ottaviani didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Olmo. After a defensive mix-up in Cassanese's zone, Fausto Domina stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alfredo Ottaviani came out of the goal and Fausto Domina tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Felice Terrasi made a fantastic save in the 91st minute, when Ferruccio Abbagnale sent off a good shot on target. Anfilogino Papa kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. Ernesto Placidi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Olmo supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Cassanese's performance. The match ended with a win for Cassanese.
