Bruno Mazzetti tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as FC Spadolini's Fausto Improta slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Bruno Mazzetti. That made the score 1-0 after 16 minutes of play. With his leg Bruno Mazzetti managed to avoid a goal in the 21stth minute, when FC Spadolini's Amedeo Cicchetti fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 25 minutes into the match, Rastignano AFC's goalkeeper Bruno Mazzetti had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Adriano Scrima. Bruno Mazzetti showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fausto Improta, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Cristoforo Gregori fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristoforo Contestabile having to interfere. After 60 minutes Rastignano AFC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Augusto Imperiale who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Augusto Imperiale got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Bruno Mazzetti quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 68th minute, Adriano Scrima got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Bruno Mazzetti showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Amedeo Cicchetti, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. FC Spadolini's Fausto Improta got a good chance for a goal in the 75th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Adriano Scrima during the 80th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card.
