In the 8th minute Amedeo Cicchetti shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristiano Stumpo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 11 minutes into the match, FC Spadolini's goal looked a bit too open when Bianco Placidi came free, but Cristoforo Contestabile reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in FC Spadolini's zone, Federico Barducci stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cristoforo Contestabile came out of the goal and Federico Barducci tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 17 minutes into the game, Domenico Santalucia threw the ball into play from the sideline. A.C. C U R E's Federico Dominici quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. 20 minutes had been played when some careless play by FC Spadolini's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Domenico Capuozzi was slow to take the kick. During this time A.C. C U R E's players had a chance to rest. In the 25th match minute, A.C. C U R E was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carmine Luciani to maneuver through the defense. Cristiano Stumpo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fausto Improta in the 27th minute of play. In the 28th minute, Ennio Falcone made a precise shot to the right of Cristiano Stumpo. A.C. C U R E's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. In the 31st minute, Carmine Luciani hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 33 played minutes, FC Spadolini's Augusto Imperiale shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Cristiano Stumpo came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in FC Spadolini reached it. Bianco Placidi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cristoforo Contestabile took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fulvio Cavanna, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cristiano Stumpo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Amedeo Cicchetti, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. In the 38th minute, Federico Barducci hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Amedeo Cicchetti received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Cristiano Stumpo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Amedeo Cicchetti in the 44th minute of play forced A.C. C U R E's goalkeeper Cristiano Stumpo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bianco Placidi in the 45thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Cristoforo Contestabile, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

C U R E's Cristiano Stumpo. Cristiano Stumpo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. C U R E's Cristiano Stumpo. Cristiano Stumpo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Adriano Scrima hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. Ennio Falcone kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. Amedeo Cicchetti sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing FC Spadolini would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
