Cosimo Tonon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cosimo Fallito, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. In the 26th minute, Cosimo Fallito made a precise shot to the right of Cosimo Tonon. FC New Team's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Porcareccia F.C.'s Armin Trevisani got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Armin Trevisani in the 32nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cosimo Tonon prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, FC New Team's Fedele Moretti got a free kick in the 33rd minute. FC New Team's Cosimo Tonon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alfredo Gizzi in the 36th minute of play. In the 39th minute, Alvise Bravo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cosimo Fallito in the 43rd minute of play forced FC New Team's goalkeeper Cosimo Tonon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 45 played minutes FC New Team got a freekick which was hit by Arturo Mangione. After 46 played minutes, Porcareccia F.C.'s Augusto Fioriti shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Cosimo Tonon came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Porcareccia F.C. reached it. The FC New Team players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Porcareccia F.C. were winning 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Antonio Colangelo made a kick off. Cosimo Tonon made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alfredo Gizzi in the 51st minute. Cosimo Tonon made a fantastic save in the 54th minute, when Alfredo Gizzi sent off a good shot on target. In the 58th minute Antonio Colangelo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alvise Pelliccioni saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
