Pavlin Popsavov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Antonio Colangelo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 28th minute, Alvise Bravo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC New Team fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. In the 32nd minute, FC New Team's Ferdinando Tullio seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Ferdinando Tullio the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of FC New Team protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Ferdinando Tullio had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In a very dangerous position, a player in FC New Team fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 31st minute. Penalty! Cosimo Tonon was out of position in the 36 minute of play, and Ciro Natale capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Ciro Natale really showed his touch with that goal: 4-1. 39 minutes into the game, Martin Ivaňo recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Cosimo Tonon. Martin Ivaňo showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 5-1. Cosimo Tonon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ciro Natale in the 44th minute of play. 44 minutes into the game, Armando Di Vito was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC New Team's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sporting Roma the free kick. The supporters of Sporting Roma booed when FC New Team was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Armando Di Vito didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cosimo Brini during the 46th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 56th minute Ciro Natale shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cosimo Tonon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 60 minutes into the match, Ciro Natale notched a goal, 7-1, to the right of FC New Team's Cosimo Tonon. Cosimo Tonon was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 89 minutes of play, Sporting Roma's Ciro Natale made it 9-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Angelo Pompilio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 97th minute of the match, but Pavlin Popsavov made a huge save. Sporting Roma were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of FC New Team for a fine match.
