Spectators: 7674 (Terracing: 5756, Seating: 1765, VIP seats: 153) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Armando Di Mascio started the match with the kick off. Sesto San Giovanni's Camillo Scarinci proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 7th minute of the match, managed to save Sesto San Giovanni from getting a goal against them. Fortunato Granato who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 8thth minute tested the skills of Camillo Scarinci when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Armando Di Mascio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 14th minute, Filippo Topatigh left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Sesto San Giovanni fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. 0-2 became the score in the 22nd minute when Armando Di Mascio elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Fabrizio Rago received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Camillo Scarinci tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Filippo Topatigh had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 32 minutes into the match, A.C. Victrix Trinitapoli's goal looked a bit too open when Armando Di Mascio came free, but Fabrizio Volpe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 34th minute, Filippo Topatigh made a precise shot to the right of Fabrizio Volpe. A.C. Victrix Trinitapoli's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. Sesto San Giovanni's Camillo Scarinci proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 40th minute of the match, managed to save Sesto San Giovanni from getting a goal against them. With his leg Camillo Scarinci managed to avoid a goal in the 44thth minute, when A.C. Victrix Trinitapoli's Fortunato Granato fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 47th minute Filippo Topatigh shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabrizio Volpe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

The wind increased when Fortunato Granato made the kick off in the second half. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Fortunato Granato during the 55th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Fabrizio Rago recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When A.C. Victrix Trinitapoli's Fortunato Granato in the 62nd minute got a chance for a shot 62nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Sesto San Giovanni's goalie prevented a goal. In the 64th minute of the match Federico Schiavio sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Camillo Scarinci skillfully saved the ball. Fortunato Granato's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Camillo Scarinci read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 67th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fortunato Granato in the 72nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Camillo Scarinci saved Sesto San Giovanni from getting behind. Amerigo Ferraris fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Camillo Scarinci having to interfere. Camillo Scarinci made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fortunato Granato in the 79th minute of play. Camillo Scarinci came out of the goal in the 81st minute to try and stop a shot by A.C. Victrix Trinitapoli's Fortunato Granato. But to his dismay, Fortunato Granato quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. Camillo Scarinci stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fortunato Granato's shot from short distance in the 84th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Fabio Suero managed to get in a good position for a shot. A.C. Victrix Trinitapoli's supporters rose to their feet, but Fabio Suero was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Camillo Scarinci breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 88 minutes into the game, Fabio Suero was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. A.C. Victrix Trinitapoli's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sesto San Giovanni the free kick. In the 88th minute, Fabio Suero hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to A.C. Victrix Trinitapoli getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Fortunato Granato hit a great ball. Although A.C. Victrix Trinitapoli had been in control for most of the match, Sesto San Giovanni still came away with the win.
