Tommi Lundell blasted a shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Carlo Mastrocola having to make a save. The throw-in from Donato De Bonis in the 28th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Cao Di Sopra AsFC's Fedele Furino. After a defensive mix-up in Cao Di Sopra AsFC's zone, Tommi Lundell stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Carlo Mastrocola came out of the goal and Tommi Lundell tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Fedele Di Lorenzo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Carlo Mastrocola having to make a save. The Vercelli FC fans' excitement grew in the 33rd match minute when Vercelli FC's Tommi Lundell looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. If Tommi Lundell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Donato De Bonis made in the 44th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Alfonso Mazzetti. Alfonso Mazzetti struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Carlo Mastrocola didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vercelli FC. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tommi Lundell was the one to do the kick off. After 66 minutes of play, Vercelli FC's Tommi Lundell made it 6-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Carlo Mastrocola was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 75 minutes, Tommi Lundell made it 7-0 with a short kick to the right side. Cao Di Sopra AsFC's Carlo Mastrocola tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Alfonso Mazzetti scored 8-0 in the 78th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Carlo Mastrocola, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tommi Lundell in the 82nd minute of play forced Cao Di Sopra AsFC's goalkeeper Carlo Mastrocola to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
