After 5 played minutes San Giorgio 1926 got a freekick which was hit by Federico Lattanzio. After 6 minutes, Edoardo Giardino mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Dorika AFC and the San Giorgio 1926 players grew even worse after the yellow card. Dorika AFC's Jerzy Modrzewski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Attilio Tana in the 8th minute of play. Dorika AFC's Ferruccio De Vecchis got a good chance for a goal in the 10th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a little luck, San Giorgio 1926's Armin Catena got control of the ball when Ferruccio De Vecchis tried to sneak it across the goal line. Armin Catena stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dario Mazzini's shot from short distance in the 13th minute. Armin Catena made a fantastic save in the 15th minute, when Dario Mazzini sent off a good shot on target. Ferruccio De Vecchis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 19 played minutes San Giorgio 1926 got a freekick which was hit by Concetto Amadei. After a defensive mix-up in San Giorgio 1926's zone, Dario Mazzini stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Armin Catena came out of the goal and Dario Mazzini tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Armin Catena showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dario Mazzini, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. After 27 played minutes Dorika AFC got a freekick which was hit by Claudio Ucci. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Adriano Gargano in the 28th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jerzy Modrzewski saved Dorika AFC from getting behind. Ferruccio De Vecchis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Armin Catena tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 33rd minute, Ferruccio De Vecchis managed to get in a good position for a shot. Dorika AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ferruccio De Vecchis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Armin Catena breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Armin Catena was out of position in the 35 minute of play, and Ferruccio De Vecchis capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Ferruccio De Vecchis really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. A collision led to Dorika AFC getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Claudio Ucci hit a great ball. Dario Mazzini sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 41 minutes into the game, Federico Lattanzio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. San Giorgio 1926's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Dorika AFC the free kick. In the 41st match minute, San Giorgio 1926 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Federico Lattanzio to maneuver through the defense. 43 minutes into the match, San Giorgio 1926's goalkeeper Armin Catena had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dario Mazzini. Dario Mazzini recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Alberto Evangelista received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Armin Catena tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A hard shot 47 in the game by Dario Mazzini from a close distance when the talented Armin Catena managed to make a qualified save. San Giorgio 1926's players were relieved. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Dario Mazzini made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dario Mazzini in the 53rd minute of play forced San Giorgio 1926's goalkeeper Armin Catena to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ferruccio De Vecchis scored 2-0 in the 59th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Armin Catena, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 61 minutes into the match, San Giorgio 1926's goal looked a bit too open when Dario Mazzini came free, but Armin Catena reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alberto Evangelista sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 64th minute, Dario Mazzini made a precise shot to the right of Armin Catena. San Giorgio 1926's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. If Alberto Evangelista had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 70 minutes into the match, San Giorgio 1926's goal looked a bit too open when Ferruccio De Vecchis came free, but Armin Catena reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alberto Evangelista sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Armin Catena came out of the goal in the 76th minute to try and stop a shot by Dorika AFC's Ferruccio De Vecchis. But to his dismay, Ferruccio De Vecchis quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. 80 minutes into the game, Ferruccio De Vecchis cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Armin Catena was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ferruccio De Vecchis scored 6-0 in the 88th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Armin Catena, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Dorika AFC had won after a very even match.
