But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Des French couldn't finish the play. Zbyszek Mietus in the 7thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Davide Padula, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edgar Falkowski in the 12th minute of play forced Borgolombardo AFC's goalkeeper Davide Padula to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Davide Padula stood somewhat misplaced when Des French came free in front of goal and shot 3-0 to the left of him in the 20 minute. 24 minutes into the game, GM Team's Edgar Falkowski nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Davide Padula made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. 27 minutes into the match, Borgolombardo AFC's goalkeeper Davide Padula had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Zbyszek Mietus. The supporters of GM Team booed when Borgolombardo AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alvaro Di Lillo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Zbyszek Mietus could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 32nd minute of the match, but Davide Padula made a huge save. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Achille Valerio was the one to do the kick off. Edgar Falkowski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Davide Padula tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. GM Team's Ferdinando Formica proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 56th minute of the match, managed to save GM Team from getting a goal against them. 64 minutes into the match, Borgolombardo AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Edgar Falkowski came free, but Davide Padula reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Zbyszek Mietus might have been able to make a better finish in the 71st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Davide Padula. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Zbyszek Mietus ran back to his position shaking his head. GM Team made a substitution. Elia Zaccardi replaced Dennis Nelli. After 74 minutes of play, GM Team's Edgar Falkowski made it 6-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Davide Padula was left in no man's land by his defense there! GM Team's defense didn't have a chance, in the 77th minute, when Achille Valerio scored to the left of an out of position Ferdinando Formica, making the score, 6-1. Achille Valerio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ferdinando Formica having to interfere. GM Team made a substitution. Bruce Banner replaced Zbyszek Mietus. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edgar Falkowski in the 86th minute of play forced Borgolombardo AFC's goalkeeper Davide Padula to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Edgar Falkowski in the 89th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Davide Padula prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, GM Team's Carter Talamo got a free kick in the 92nd minute. GM Team walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
