Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Camillo Orsi started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cesare Di Domenico in the 10th minute of play forced Matei FC's goalkeeper Carmine Donato to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 13 minutes into the match, GP2 Red Fields's goalkeeper Biagio Padula had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Camillo Orsi. When Alvise Presutti fell near the penalty area in the 15th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Matei FC's protests and gave Alvise Presutti a yellow card for diving instead. In the 15th match minute, Matei FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alvise Presutti to maneuver through the defense. When the match had gone on for 19 minutes, Damiano Boninsegna took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Biagio Padula to make any attempt to save it. Christian Saturno took the ball and in the 25 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Carmine Donato. Carmine Donato dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. 32 minutes into the game, Amedeo Rapone was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. GP2 Red Fields's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Matei FC the free kick. The long shot by Corrado Oberrauch in the 33rd minute really tested Biagio Padula's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Camillo Orsi in the 36thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Biagio Padula, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Biagio Padula showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Damiano Boninsegna in the 40th minute of the match. In the 48th minute, Ferruccio Donatelli hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cesare Di Domenico to make the kick off. GP2 Red Fields's Biagio Padula played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Camillo Orsi in the 53rd minute of play. Matei FC's Damiano Boninsegna got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Biagio Padula showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Camillo Orsi, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. Camillo Orsi took the ball and in the 62 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Biagio Padula. Biagio Padula dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Biagio Padula showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Camillo Orsi, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. 71 minutes into the match, GP2 Red Fields's goal looked a bit too open when Damiano Boninsegna came free, but Biagio Padula reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Biagio Padula showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Damiano Boninsegna in the 73rd minute of the match. Biagio Padula took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Camillo Orsi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Damiano Boninsegna recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Biagio Padula showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Damiano Boninsegna, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. Alvise Presutti kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. If Camillo Orsi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Biagio Padula took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Federico Frezza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Damiano Boninsegna fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Biagio Padula having to interfere. There was no doubt that Matei FC were the better team. Matei FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
