A very good chance. Elia Valente could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 12th minute of the match, but Demetrio Scafati made a huge save. 14 minutes into the game, Emilio Mancinelli was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Browns's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Redevil the free kick. A collision led to Browns getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Emilio Mancinelli hit a great ball. Colon Marrero struck a weak shot in the 15th minute. Demetrio Scafati didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Redevil. In the 18th minute, one of Redevil:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Redevil. Redevil:s Ennio Granato showed great skill when he stopped Attilio Vieri:s penalty. Demetrio Scafati was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Fausto Moriggi showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 21 minute of play. The supporters of Browns booed when Redevil was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Daniele Belfiore didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ennio Granato made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Attilio Vieri in the 25th minute of play. Alex Di Croce fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Demetrio Scafati having to interfere. Browns's Attilio Vieri got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In a very dangerous position, a player in Browns fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 38th minute. Penalty! Attilio Vieri received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Ennio Granato tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 47th minute, Attilio Vieri made a precise shot to the right of Ennio Granato. Redevil's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Colon Marrero to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elia Valente in the 54th minute of play forced Browns's goalkeeper Demetrio Scafati to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Attilio Vieri's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ennio Granato was relentless in the 61st minute of the game. Demetrio Scafati made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fausto Moriggi in the 85th minute of play. After 86 minutes Browns's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Daniele Belfiore who took care of the corner kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Colon Marrero in the 89th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Demetrio Scafati saved Browns from getting behind. 95 minutes into the game, Elia Valente cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-2. Demetrio Scafati was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Many of Browns's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Browns may have spent more time on the ball, but Redevil were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
