Carmine Donato was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Matei FC's Carmine Donato played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Krzysztof Dolić in the 17th minute of play. The Villa di Molvena FC fans' excitement grew in the 22nd match minute when Villa di Molvena FC's Alexis Sánchez looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The supporters of Matei FC booed when Villa di Molvena FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Grover Hofer didn't get a good kick on the ball. Krzysztof Dolić sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Krzysztof Dolić struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Carmine Donato didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Villa di Molvena FC. Carmine Donato made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alexis Sánchez in the 46th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alexis Sánchez in the 47th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Carmine Donato prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After the first half Villa di Molvena FC were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Camillo Orsi to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Krzysztof Dolić in the 57th minute of play forced Matei FC's goalkeeper Carmine Donato to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 59 minutes into the match, Matei FC's goal looked a bit too open when Krzysztof Dolić came free, but Carmine Donato reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alexis Sánchez's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Carmine Donato firmly grabbed it by the left post. Carmine Donato was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Alessandro Giovannelli showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-6 in the 82 minute of play. Grover Hofer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Carmine Donato tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
