Flavio Lavatrice showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nicholas Langsford, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. Dario Melani could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 16th minute of the match, but Antonio Buccella made a huge save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nicholas Langsford in the 20th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Flavio Lavatrice saved Molfetta sportiva from getting behind. 24 minutes into the match, Molfetta sportiva's goal looked a bit too open when Alessandro Mancinelli came free, but Flavio Lavatrice reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nicholas Langsford sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Flavio Lavatrice took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nicholas Langsford, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Antonio Buccella made a fantastic save in the 27th minute, when Dario Melani sent off a good shot on target. After 29 played minutes Molfetta sportiva got a freekick which was hit by Fabiano Fantini. Antonio Buccella made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dario Melani in the 34th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Domenico Campo got free with Antonio Buccella in the 35th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 36th minute, Nicholas Langsford got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Edvard Slæggerup to strike the kick off in the second half. Alfonso Cirigliano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Antonio Buccella tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nicholas Langsford in the 66th minute of play forced Molfetta sportiva's goalkeeper Flavio Lavatrice to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Alfonso Cirigliano came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the Molfetta sportiva fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alfonso Cirigliano couldn't finish the play. Alessandro Mancinelli hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Gabbro FC's Dobromir Psotka got a free kick in the 72nd minute. Molfetta sportiva made a substitution. Cesare Di Renzo replaced Dario Melani. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Carmine Iannone in the 77th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Antonio Buccella saved Gabbro FC from getting behind. 79 minutes into the match, Gabbro FC's goal looked a bit too open when Cesare Di Renzo came free, but Antonio Buccella reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nicholas Langsford struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. Flavio Lavatrice didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gabbro FC. Antonio Buccella made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alfonso Cirigliano in the 83rd minute of play. In the 88th minute, Nicholas Langsford got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Antonio Buccella came out of the goal in the 91st minute to try and stop a shot by Molfetta sportiva's Cesare Di Renzo. But to his dismay, Cesare Di Renzo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Antonio Buccella showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alfonso Cirigliano in the 95th minute of the match. Antonio Buccella showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carmine Iannone, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Molfetta sportiva fully deserved thier win.
