Spectators: 8441 (Terracing: 6346, Seating: 1945, VIP seats: 150) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Osmar Teles kicked off to start the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Osmar Teles in the 4th minute of play forced Sambughe's goalkeeper Alex Pierucci to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 5 minutes into the match, Donato Corelli notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Sambughe's Alex Pierucci. Alex Pierucci was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 7th minute of the match, Reese Otto got a very nice opportunity to score, but Felice Coccolone was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. With a little luck, Muppet FC's Felice Coccolone got control of the ball when Reese Otto tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Osmar Teles came up free with the goalie in the 10th minute, the Muppet FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Osmar Teles couldn't finish the play. Muppet FC's Felice Coccolone played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Reese Otto in the 12th minute of play. Reese Otto's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Felice Coccolone read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 17th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Muppet FC's zone, Reese Otto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Felice Coccolone came out of the goal and Reese Otto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Reese Otto blasted a shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Felice Coccolone having to make a save. Muppet FC's Felice Coccolone proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 27th minute of the match, managed to save Muppet FC from getting a goal against them. Donato Corelli blasted a shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Alex Pierucci having to make a save. 35 minutes into the game, Reese Otto recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Felice Coccolone. Reese Otto showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. Felice Coccolone made an important save on a dangerous shot by Reese Otto in the 42nd minute. In the 45th match minute, Muppet FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Donato Corelli to maneuver through the defense. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Felice Coccolone showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Reese Otto in the 52nd minute of the match. After some careless play in the Muppet FC defense, Reese Otto kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Felice Coccolone. The Muppet FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Felice Coccolone should have stopped the shot. Felice Coccolone showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Reese Otto in the 62nd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Donato Corelli in the 63rd minute of play forced Sambughe's goalkeeper Alex Pierucci to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Muppet FC's attentive Mauro Hanni managed to snatch the ball when Emanuele Travaglini made a throw-in in the 67th minute of the game. Felice Coccolone took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Reese Otto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Reese Otto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Felice Coccolone having to interfere. Alex Pierucci showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Osmar Teles in the 82nd minute of the match. When Sambughe's Reese Otto in the 85th minute got a chance for a shot 85th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Muppet FC's goalie prevented a goal. After some careless play in the Sambughe defense, Donato Corelli kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Alex Pierucci. The Sambughe fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Alex Pierucci should have stopped the shot. There was no doubt that Sambughe were the better team. Sambughe's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
