Máté Győrfi was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Máté Győrfi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vencel Vass, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Attila Kun sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Meng Hong Zhen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Richárd Jászberényi in the 25th minute of play. Vencel Vass received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Máté Győrfi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 28 minutes, Olivér Makkai managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rákóczifalva MÁV SE's supporters crossed their fingers, but Olivér Makkai was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Barnabás Gombos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Máté Győrfi having to interfere. András Jakab sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rákóczifalva MÁV SE's Zakariás Szigeti got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Máté Győrfi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vencel Vass, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. If Olivér Makkai had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ádám Mihály was the one to do the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Rákóczifalva MÁV SE's goal looked a bit too open when István Sallay came free, but Meng Hong Zhen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Vencel Vass had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 55 played minutes Vekerd got a freekick which was hit by Richárd Jászberényi. If Attila Kun had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. In the 63rd minute Ádám Mihály shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Meng Hong Zhen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 89th match minute, Rákóczifalva MÁV SE was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gábor Károlyi to maneuver through the defense. 90 minutes into the game, Richárd Jászberényi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Vekerd's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Rákóczifalva MÁV SE the free kick. Rákóczifalva MÁV SE's Meng Hong Zhen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Richárd Jászberényi in the 94th minute of play. Meng Hong Zhen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ádám Mihály in the 97th minute of play.
