Botond Varsányi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Diamantino Moreira having to interfere. After some careless play in the Sajókaza SE defense, Botond Varsányi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Diamantino Moreira. The Sajókaza SE fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Diamantino Moreira should have stopped the shot. 12 minutes into the match, Sajókaza SE's goal looked a bit too open when Ottó Boros came free, but Diamantino Moreira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 14th match minute, Sajókaza SE was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Norbert Hajnal to maneuver through the defense. Leó Sebők was out of position in the 17 minute of play, and Elek Magyar capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Elek Magyar really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. In the 21st match minute, Sajókaza SE was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Attila Baló to maneuver through the defense. In the 23rd minute, Attila Baló hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Botond Varsányi in the 27th minute of play forced Sajókaza SE's goalkeeper Diamantino Moreira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Ferenc Tótfalusi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Botond Varsányi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Diamantino Moreira was relentless in the 30th minute of the game. 34 minutes into the game, Ottó Boros was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Szeleste's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sajókaza SE the free kick. In the 34th minute, Ottó Boros hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Leó Sebők took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Elek Magyar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sajókaza SE's Diamantino Moreira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Botond Varsányi in the 42nd minute of play. 43 minutes into the game, Szeleste's Lénárd Tímár nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Diamantino Moreira made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Sándor Szepesvári made a kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Sajókaza SE's goalkeeper Diamantino Moreira had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Botond Varsányi. Leó Sebők came out of the goal in the 57th minute to try and stop a shot by Sajókaza SE's Elek Magyar. But to his dismay, Elek Magyar quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. In the 62nd minute Lénárd Tímár shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Diamantino Moreira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Diamantino Moreira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lénárd Tímár, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 66th minute, Lénárd Tímár managed to get in a good position for a shot. Szeleste's supporters rose to their feet, but Lénárd Tímár was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Diamantino Moreira breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Róbert Soós kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. Olivér Boros took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 73rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Leó Sebők. Szeleste's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Diamantino Moreira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lénárd Tímár in the 77th minute of play. Elek Magyar might have been able to make a better finish in the 80th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Leó Sebők. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Elek Magyar ran back to his position shaking his head. A collision led to Sajókaza SE getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Sándor Szepesvári hit a great ball. Sajókaza SE's Diamantino Moreira proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 83rd minute of the match, managed to save Sajókaza SE from getting a goal against them. Norbert Hajnal hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lénárd Tímár in the 89th minute of play forced Sajókaza SE's goalkeeper Diamantino Moreira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lénárd Tímár fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Diamantino Moreira having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Szeleste's Róbert Soós got a free kick in the 96th minute. The Szeleste players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
