Spectators: 5800 (Terracing: 4600, Seating: 1200, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Béla Sági got the match started through his kick off. Mihály Simon recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 3rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 4 minutes into the game, Tamás Madaras was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ráckeve S.E.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Southampton 1885 the free kick. Tamás Madaras kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. Csaba Vass made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Béla Sági in the 6th minute of play. György Polyák received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Illés Bodrogi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 10 minutes of play, Ráckeve S.E.'s György Polyák made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Illés Bodrogi was left in no man's land by his defense there! György Polyák recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Zsolt Kossuth's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Illés Bodrogi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 20th minute of play. 22 minutes into the match, Ráckeve S.E.'s goal looked a bit too open when Béla Sági came free, but Csaba Vass reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Southampton 1885's zone, György Polyák stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Illés Bodrogi came out of the goal and György Polyák tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 26th minute, György Polyák ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Illés Bodrogi was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. The crowd rose to their feet as György Polyák kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Illés Bodrogi. That made the score 3-0 in the 30 minute of play. After 38 minutes, József Jónás mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ráckeve S.E. and the Southampton 1885 players grew even worse after the yellow card. József Jónás kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. In the 41st minute, József Jónás hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Csaba Vass showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Béla Sági, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. After 43 minutes of play Ráckeve S.E.'s József Jónás was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. A collision led to Ráckeve S.E. getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. József Jónás hit a great ball. Csaba Vass showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mihály Simon in the 46th minute of the match.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. György Polyák was the one to do the kick off. Mihály Simon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Csaba Vass having to interfere. Csaba Vass took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Béla Sági, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 56th match minute, Southampton 1885 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Péter Kerékgyártó to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 60 minutes, Béla Sági managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Southampton 1885's supporters crossed their fingers, but Béla Sági was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Mihály Simon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Southampton 1885's Olivér Károlyi got a free kick in the 68th minute. György Polyák sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When György Polyák came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the Ráckeve S.E. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that György Polyák couldn't finish the play. György Polyák fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Illés Bodrogi having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 81st minute, Zsolt Kossuth managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ráckeve S.E.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Zsolt Kossuth was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Illés Bodrogi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by György Polyák in the 85th minute of play forced Southampton 1885's goalkeeper Illés Bodrogi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 90th minute, Southampton 1885's Béla Sági ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Csaba Vass. Csaba Vass yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-1. When the referee ended the match the Ráckeve S.E. players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
