Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when György Bányay took the kick off in the first half of the match. A collision led to Bódvaszilas getting a freekick after 2 minutes play. Szabolcs Dudics hit a great ball. D. Legione's János Túri proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 6th minute of the match, managed to save D. Legione from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by György Bányay in the 8th minute of play forced Bódvaszilas's goalkeeper Ottó Hidegkúti to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 15th minute, Ottó Torma hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 16 minutes into the match, D. Legione's Lóránt Sipos broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. In the 18th minute, Jónás Czene fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. In the 20th minute, Jónás Czene got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Gergely Latabár fell near the penalty area in the 21st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored D. Legione's protests and gave Gergely Latabár a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to D. Legione getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Gergely Latabár hit a great ball. János Túri took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jónás Czene, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If György Bányay had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ottó Hidegkúti showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from György Bányay, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. János Túri made a fantastic save in the 28th minute, when Dénes Pásztor sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, Bódvaszilas's Illés Pál got a free kick in the 36th minute. Ottó Hidegkúti showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from György Bányay in the 38th minute of the match. János Túri made a fantastic save in the 44th minute, when Dénes Pásztor sent off a good shot on target. After the first half D. Legione were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jónás Czene was the one to do the kick off. Ottó Hidegkúti made an important save on a dangerous shot by József Kalmár in the 51st minute. After 59 minutes of play, Bódvaszilas's Dénes Pásztor made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. János Túri was left in no man's land by his defense there! János Túri took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jónás Czene, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jónás Czene struck a weak shot in the 68th minute. János Túri didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bódvaszilas. 71 minutes into the match, D. Legione's goal looked a bit too open when Jónás Czene came free, but János Túri reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 73 minutes into the match, Bódvaszilas's goalkeeper Ottó Hidegkúti had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by József Kalmár. After 74 played minutes Bódvaszilas got a freekick which was hit by László Gellért. Ottó Hidegkúti acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 76th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Zsolt Szőlősi. D. Legione's János Túri played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dénes Pásztor in the 82nd minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling László Gellért in the 87th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck János Túri prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to Bódvaszilas getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Ottó Torma hit a great ball. D. Legione's György Bányay got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. György Bányay was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 96th minute. D. Legione's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance.
