Spectators: 7852 (Terracing: 5890, Seating: 1806, VIP seats: 156) In the 3rd minute Krisztián Jánosi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but József Juhász saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In a very dangerous position, a player in Rumpi fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 7th minute. Penalty! Boldizsár Tóth recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Károly Bartha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Károly Bartha could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 21st minute of the match, but József Juhász made a huge save. Csaba Kárpáti received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Kálmán Sándor tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 31st minute, Csaba Kárpáti left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Rumpi fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Csaba Kárpáti in the 35th minute of play forced Rába ETO's goalkeeper Kálmán Sándor to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Károly Bartha managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rába ETO's supporters rose to their feet, but Károly Bartha was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. József Juhász breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Boldizsár Tóth stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With his leg Kálmán Sándor managed to avoid a goal in the 53rdth minute, when Rumpi's Csaba Kárpáti fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. If Boldizsár Tóth had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kálmán Sándor made a fantastic save in the 59th minute, when Csaba Kárpáti sent off a good shot on target. 60 minutes into the match, Rába ETO's goal looked a bit too open when Boldizsár Tóth came free, but Kálmán Sándor reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, Csaba Kárpáti managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rumpi's supporters rose to their feet, but Csaba Kárpáti was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kálmán Sándor breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Rumpi's Boldizsár Tóth got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Csaba Kárpáti sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. József Juhász came out of the goal in the 68th minute to try and stop a shot by Rába ETO's Krisztián Jánosi. But to his dismay, Krisztián Jánosi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. If Csaba Kárpáti had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rumpi's József Juhász played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Krisztián Jánosi in the 86th minute of play. József Juhász made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Károly Bartha in the 93rd minute of play. Rába ETO's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
